I am excited to announce the launch of my new website! It has been many years in the making and I am thrilled to finally be able to share it with you.
Inspired by my love of decorating and the encouragement of friends who enjoyed my designs, I started my company, Designs By Starr, over three years ago. Since that time, my schedule has been booked solid to stage and redecorate homes. Buyers, sellers, agents and homeowners I have worked with have helped me grow my company solely by word of mouth.
Up until now, I have used my website like a blog–sharing photos from jobs and testimonials from clients–but I feel the time has come to redesign it and help people see the importance of staging their home for sale. Discussions of the importance of good design, ideas that I use in my own work, my personal design and decorating education, and suggestions for how you can improve your own spaces will be part of this new site. I welcome your questions and insights, too!

She left this world in 2005, but she will always be remembered as the most amazing, artistic, creative, talented, selfless, loving, inspiring, and I need not forget, FUN lady that ever lived. My mother touched the life of every single person who crossed her path, and I miss her dearly. I am honored to know that she has passed her torch on to me, and I am living out both of our dreams with my work.
